Outstanding little inn with most stunning vista. This was our best supper in Newfoundland by far: freshly caught cod, homemade partridgeberry cheesecake, excellent coffee, a generous glass of cold white wine. The host, Viola, and her staff are lovely and so welcoming. Notably, we noticed the other guests were actually from nearby towns which says a lot about how well loved this place is. We really appreciated the children's portion meal option for our little guy. We stayed at the BnB and the rooms are very clean and comfortable in this heritage home, with fresh breezes coming in from the bay. Thank you to the staff for a memorable evening in beautiful Cupids.

We made dinner reservations for my parents' anniversary and Skipper Ben's was a lovely place to celebrate. The dining room is cozy and really highlights the old charm of the house. The three course meal was delicious. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Overall the atmosphere was exceptional. I would highly recommend.

My staff and I went here on Canada Day. Such a lovely evening. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was impeccable. It isn't often we can get together as a group so this was very special. To Viola and her wonderful staff, thank you so much. We hope to see you again next year.

We have been reminded how truly gifted Clyde and Viola are as convivial and charming and caring NFL hosts at skipper ben's. We are from Caifirnia, and This is our fourth time in 25 years staying and celebrating with them and each time has been lovingly memorable. They are the standard for hospitality, and they are aging, but in a good way, like siblings you want to share your own life with every few years. Both the good and the bad, because you know they understand and care too. The food, the setting, the high standards are truly a luxury beyond measure!!!

Highly recommended. My wife and I had dinner at Skipper Ben's in picturesque Cupid last night. Best meal we have had since we arrived in NL a week ago. We both had the seafood platter (pan seared cod, salmon, scallops and shrimp with coleslaw and vegetables). It also included soup and desert. Everything was done to perfection. The staff were very friendly. I strongly recommend making a reservation given they are very busy and space is limited. They have a patio with a great view if you like outdoor dining.
